National Concert Across America to End Gun Violence is Sept. 25

The recently announced Concert Across America is especially exciting because it is being organized by the person in charge of the hugely successful Million Moms March to promote tighter gun laws in 2000. That march brought out 750,000 supporters in Washington and another 150,000 or so across the country. We hope that even more will participate this year.

On Sunday, September 25th, a major concert, featuring big name artists and personalities, will be held and webcast. In addition, hundreds and hundreds of other events will take place that day to honor the dead and pray for an end to gun violence.

A mini concert could be as simple as a soloist in a park, a congregation singing a song of peace, or as bold as a concert featuring local musicians. With literally hundreds of thousands of people SINGING across America for an end to gun violence — all on one day — the effect will be dramatic and powerful.
